5-23-23   THOUGHTS

We can sometimes over-talk a powerful and simple scripture area.  Below, we have God’s intention for His children.  FAITHFUL, BELIEVING WALKERS, FOLLOWING THE CHRIST!  KEEPING GOD’S WORD IN GOD’S LOVE!  This is about KNOWING THAT WE KNOW!   It’s self-examination time for each of us.  
1John 2:3-6   By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4  The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5  but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6  the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Rev 2:4    But I have [this] against you, that you have left your first love.
Rev 3:15-16    ‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot.  16  ‘So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth.
2Thes 1:3 We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brethren, as is [only] fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the love of each one of you toward one another grows [ever] greater;

My Prayer:
Enlarge our faith greatly, O God.  May our love for the fellowship of each other increase and abound.  Awaken us, revive us, open our hearts to the fields that are white unto harvest.  Cause our hearts to burn within us for the possibilities that are before us in Christ Jesus.  Refresh the old old story in us each day.  Help us to be good sheep, walking in the same manner as Christ walked.
